The Critical Mass DVD represents the first in
a series of DVDs that will showcase digital
artists and musicians working in collaboration.
Critical Mass, a DVD of 14 digital shorts by
East Midlands artists, showcases
Echoes: digital repercussions, six films by East
Midlands digital, film and video artists,
produced by Threshold Studios, and Dv
Miniatures eight collaborative shorts by artists
and film makers produced by INTA films
through the Arts Council's Year of the Artist.
Critical Mass will be launched on October
27th 2004 at the Malt Cross, Nottingham as
part of the NOW Festival, where the Echoes
digital artists will VJ live to accompany
special guest DJs from Wizwax, Bathysphere
and international sound artist Disinformation.
Echoes: digital repercussions, Critical
Mass and DV Miniatures were supported by
the Arts Council of England East Midlands.
Echoes also received support from
Northamptonshire County Council.

Totality G2V is the first CDROM to
be released by Iris Light. Taking data
initially used for a live Web Broadcast
this disc begins a series of Rom
based releases dedicated to live
video and audio footage.
Working in conjunction with
Jeczalid Films, Host Productions
and A Graphic Company this
disc is an extraordinary document
of one of the most incredible
natural events. A must for anyone who
witnessed the eclipse and indeed
for those who, sadly, missed out.
