Szeki Kurva were an enigma.
They released three CD's for Iris Light
and mixed Hungarian folk music with
Digital Hardcore.

With each release they took their
sound further and further into the
extreme. They have supported Asian
Dub Foundation and set up their
own label, FGZ, through which they
released all their own material. As
time progressed they changed
personnel, slimmed down to a three
piece and then finally a two piece.

They have involved themselves in
terrorist activitiy against the music
industry and were probably the most
explosive act to ever sign to Iris Light.

However, after the three releases and
numerous personnel changes both
band and label parted company.
They remain one of the most unusual
signings to the label and certainly
deserved more attention they actually
got.

As far as we know they are still writing
music however they changed their
name - to THE FIGHTING COCKS -
they are now singed to RCA and
are due to release their first
album for that label - we wish
them well.
