Dense Vision Shrine is the new project by
Norwegian Artist Karsten Hamre of
Arcane Art and the, now defunct, project
PENITENT.

Penitent released music on various labels
including CMI, Memento Mori and
Prophecy Productions. However
Karsten - the mainstay behind
the project - has decided to stop
Penitent to concentrate on
his new project Dense Vision Shrine.

Karsten has been a mainstay of the "dark
ambient" scene for nearly seven years
contributing tracks to numerous
compilations including an upcoming
William Blake album through Suffering
Clown / World Serpent.

"Magic & Mystery", the debut album for
Dense Vision Shrine, is to be released
by Iris Light Records. Spanning 6 track
of dark ambience with cathedral-esque
organs it is a stunningly beautiful album
that grows with each listen.

Karsten himself describes the project:
"Dense Vision Shrine... is based upon
the concept of the opposite principles
that merge into Art."

Iris Light has not released a dark ambient
album for five years, it is therefore a
testament to the magnificence of the
Dense Vision Shrine album that we are
releasing this album now.
